Insurance Office of America (IOA) is seeking an Account Manager for Commercial Lines who can navigate a remote-first setup across multiple states. The role focuses on managing a book of business, client advocacy, and seamless coordination of policy administration, billing, and renewals.

The ideal candidate holds an active P&C license (CIC preferred) and brings 3+ years in account management or 5+ years in insurance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of account management experience or 5+ years in insurance
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs
• Active licensing required; CIC or equivalent preferred
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Excellent customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational abilities
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned book of business, ensuring retention and supporting new business.
• Coordinate day-to-day administrative and customer service activities, resolving complex issues.
• Monitor policy expirations and renewals; support renewal processes.
• Handle policy administration, billing, claims, and coverage analysis.
• Direct daily activities of the account management team; ensure data accuracy in agency systems.
