Insurance Office of America seeks an Account Manager - Commercial Lines to manage a book of business with focus on retention and growth. You will coordinate day‑to‑day admin, handle service requests, policy renewals, billing and claims while keeping data accurate across carrier platforms.

The role requires an active P&C license and trucking/transport experience, with remote options across several western states and on‑site hybrid needs as needed.

Formación

• 3+ years of account management experience, or 5+ years in the insurance industry.
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
• Active licensing required; CIC or equivalent designation preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
• Excellent customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• High School Diploma (or equivalent).

Responsabilidades

• Manage an assigned book of business, ensuring account retention and supporting new business.
• Coordinate day‑to‑day administrative and customer service activities, resolving complex issues.
• Maintain technical competence and industry expertise.
• Direct daily activities of the account management team.
• Handle customer service requests, policy administration, billing, claims, and coverage analysis.
• Manage policy expirations and renewals; conduct client research and present proposals.
• Monitor delinquent accounts and collect outstanding balances.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms.
