Job summary

Altius Search Group LLC seeks a Commercial Credit Analyst for a national equipment finance company. This remote role underwrites commercial borrowers and equipment transactions, preparing credit recommendations and coordinating with sales, operations, documentation, and credit leadership through approvals.

Three to seven years of direct equipment finance underwriting experience is required. Base salary range is $90,000-$105,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Qualifications

• Three to seven years of direct commercial equipment finance underwriting experience.
• Direct underwriting experience in equipment finance required.
• Ability to independently manage transactions and escalate complex cases.
• Strong financial statement, cash flow, and repayment-capacity analysis skills.
• Proficiency with MS Excel and credit systems.
• Ability to work remotely from within the United States during business hours.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite equipment finance transactions by analyzing financial data and credit information.
• Evaluate equipment loans, leases, and other finance structures.
• Assess collateral, advance rates, and repayment risk.
• Prepare concise, well-supported credit memoranda and underwriting recommendations.
• Present transactions to senior leadership or credit committee as needed.
• Maintain complete credit files and monitor workflow status and conditions.
