Job summary

Echo House Electric seeks an experienced Electrical Estimator / Project Manager to oversee commercial opportunities from bid review to project completion. This role blends estimating (40%) with project management (60%), focusing on commercial electrical work and site coordination.

Candidates must live in Philadelphia or surrounding area and be able to travel to local sites; remote work is supported for computer tasks with occasional site visits.

Qualifications

• Five+ years in commercial electrical estimating and project management.
• Ability to independently read plans and specifications and prepare estimates.
• Experience with proposals, scheduling, RFIs, submittals and change orders.
• Proficiency with electrical estimating software, spreadsheets and drawings.
• Strong organization, communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Review bid invitations and identify opportunities fitting capabilities and service area.
• Attend site walkthroughs and review drawings, specs, addenda and conditions.
• Prepare electrical takeoffs and develop estimates for labor, materials, equipment and subs.
• Obtain and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations.
• Prepare clear proposals and follow up on bids, negotiating scope and pricing.
• Manage awarded projects from planning through closeout and billing milestones.
