Job summary

Superior Choice Credit Union is seeking a Commercial Credit Analyst to join our team remotely. You will evaluate commercial credit requests, analyze financial statements, tax returns, cash flow, and credit reports to provide clear recommendations to lenders and management.

This position requires a minimum of 2 years of commercial credit analysis experience, strong understanding of credit risk, and excellent organization.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of commercial credit analysis experience.
• Experience in commercial underwriting, lending, or business banking.
• Strong understanding of financial statements, cash flow, and debt service.
• Experience with Sageworks is preferred.
• Must reside in the Twin Cities, Twin Ports, or surrounding areas with occasional travel.
• Highly organized with attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Analyze financial statements, tax returns, cash flow reports, and credit reports to assess credit requests
• Perform detailed commercial credit analysis to align with lending policies and risk standards
• Prepare clear credit presentations and recommendations for lending decisions
• Monitor loan collateral, valuations, inspections, and covenant compliance
• Support lenders with portfolio management and ongoing credit monitoring
• Prepare and maintain reports on borrowers' financial performance and credit obligations
• Collect, review, and organize financial information from business members
• Update credit and loan systems with accurate data entry and reporting
• Assist with problem loan administration and special projects as needed
• Represent SCCU's mission of improving the financial well-being of our members
