Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business preferred.
• Minimum one year of related work experience, especially with business & personal tax returns and financial statements.
• Basic knowledge of credit policies and government regulations regarding commercial lending.
• Proficient in MS Office and web navigation for credit decisions.
• Strong analytical ability to resolve complex issues and support decisions.

Responsibilities

• Summarizes information from members and prepares analyses/loan presentations for new and renewing loan requests.
• Analyzes corporate financial statements and tax returns, cash flow, ratios, collateral, and environmental reviews.
• Presents analysis to loan committee and senior management to aid evaluation and approval.
• Prepares SBA analyses and applications, and documents for sale of guaranteed loans.
• Supports development/implementation of credit policies and administration of the loan system.
