Job summary

MSU Federal Credit Union is seeking a thorough Business Credit Analyst at multiple levels to assess creditworthiness of commercial loan applicants, prepare narratives, and support loan decisioning. You will monitor portfolios, identify risks, and maintain compliant credit files.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required or expected.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, finance, sales, or related field is preferred.
• Experience with Windows Microsoft 365 applications is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Analyze financial statements, tax returns, and data to assess creditworthiness and prepare summaries.
• Support loan officers with timely credit evaluations.
• Monitor portfolio risk and identify potential issues.
• Maintain organized credit files in accordance with policy and regulation.
• Mentor junior analysts and collaborate with internal teams on data gathering.
