Job summary

Legal.io is actively seeking a commercially minded Contracts Attorney to support a leading engineering and construction organization. The role focuses on drafting and negotiating MSAs, subcontractor and vendor contracts, while advising project teams on risk and compliance.

Candidates should have a JD with an active U.S. Bar License (TX, CA, or MN preferred) and 5–15 years in construction or engineering law, including familiarity with AIA/EJCDC contracts and design-build delivery.

Qualifications

• JD required with active U.S. bar license.
• 5–15 years of legal experience in construction, engineering, or design industries.
• Familiarity with AIA and EJCDC contract forms.
• Experience with design-build delivery models.

Responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate MSAs, subcontractor agreements, and vendor contracts.
• Identify legal risks and advise project teams during bid and execution phases.
• Ensure regulatory compliance for complex infrastructure and construction projects.
• Support high-impact, fast-paced contract management in a multidisciplinary environment.
