Job summary

Siemens Energy seeks a Commercial Sales professional to lead all commercial and financial activities across the full sales and bid process. You will prepare and negotiate terms for Substation Projects, LTSA, O&M contracts, and small orders, while driving process improvements with the sales team.

The role requires a degree in Business/Finance and at least 8 years in related fields, plus strong analytics, SAP, and MS Office proficiency. Remote work is possible with ~25% travel to Raleigh, NC.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business Admin/Finance or equivalent
• Minimum 8 years in commercial finance, business admin, or project controlling
• Analytical thinking, judgment and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of GAAP and IFRS; SAP and MS Office proficiency
• Experience with analytics tools (Alteryx/Power BI/Tableau); AI interest a plus

Responsibilities

• Lead all commercial and financial activities across the full sales and bid process
• Prepare and negotiate commercial and financial terms for Substation Projects and LTSA
• Drive process improvements during the Sales/Bid phase with the sales team
• Manage contract analysis, cost calculation, financing concepts, currency and hedging
• Coordinate with Legal, Insurance, Taxes; negotiate T&Cs within guidelines
• Ensure approvals and capture lessons learned for future projects
• Support OI forecast accuracy with the Sales Manager
