Jonus Group is seeking a skilled Commercial Auto Claims Examiner to join our team. This fully remote, temporary-to-hire position focuses on non-litigated commercial auto claims, primarily property damage with limited BI, and offers an hourly rate of $37-$40 and a 90-day assignment with potential for conversion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 3+ years of experience handling commercial auto claims (Auto PD).
• Active adjuster license required, with the ability to obtain licenses in Texas and Florida (costs covered by the company).
• Experience with total loss claims, cargo claims, and salvage platforms preferred.
• Familiarity with vehicle damage appraisals and coverage investigations.
• Experience in writing coverage letters and presenting files in roundtable discussions.

Responsibilities

• Investigate losses and identify coverage issues.
• Obtain and review estimates, evidence, reports, and medical records.
• Handle first-party and third-party damages, including total loss, fire, theft, and glass claims.
• Evaluate injury demands and manage both represented and unrepresented claims.
• Establish damages and reserves, process payments, and maintain claim files in accordance with best practices.
• Take recorded statements from insureds, claimants, and witnesses.
• Obtain and maintain all required state adjuster licenses.
