Responsibilities include reviewing policy language, applying state-specific statutes, processing expenses, and maintaining accurate payment ledgers.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Investigate and manage assigned commercial auto first-party medical benefit claims.
• Verify coverage, eligibility, benefits, limits, deductibles, exclusions, and coordination-of-benefits requirements.
• Review policy language and apply state-specific PIP, no-fault, and MedPay statutes and fee schedules.
• Evaluate accident information, medical records, bills, treatment notes, and wage documentation for eligibility and payment.
• Review medical bills for coding accuracy and necessity.
• Process covered medical expenses and wage-loss benefits per policy and law.
• Maintain benefit payment ledgers and monitor limits, deductibles, offsets.
• Communicate professionally with insureds, claimants, providers, attorneys, and internal teams.
• Escalate disputed treatments and potential fraud for legal/supervisory review.
• Prepare timely correspondence and information requests.
• Manage active claim inventory with quality and timeliness targets.
• Coordinate with Bodily Injury, Liability, Litigation, SIU, and vendor teams.
• Obtain and maintain required state adjuster licenses.
