Midwest Family Mutual Insurance Company is seeking a Commercial and Personal Lines Underwriter to join our fully remote team. You will underwrite both commercial and personal line submissions, assess risk, and determine pricing and coverage options.

You will cultivate strong relationships with independent agents, negotiate terms, ensure policy compliance, and contribute to the evolution of underwriting guidelines and AI-driven decision support, all while maintaining high standards of accuracy.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of property and casualty underwriting experience.
• Familiarity with both personal and commercial lines.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and underwrite commercial and personal lines submissions.
• Assess risk and determine pricing and coverage options.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with independent agents.
