CollegeConsulting is seeking a part-time, remote College Advisor contractor to support high school students and families through the admissions process. You will coach a caseload progressively, with a flexible schedule and growth opportunities as the program scales.

You will review essays, plan school lists, and provide personalized guidance using CC.us curriculum. Remote, part-time position with a focus on high-quality student outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent.
• Experience as admissions officer or college counselor with success helping students to competitive schools.
• Proven ability to guide students in strategy, essays, and admissions positioning.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with constructive feedback.
• Strong organization and time management to handle a caseload independently.
• Comfort using remote collaboration tools (Zoom, Google Workspace, Slack/Twist).

Responsibilities

• Coach a caseload of 15–50 students.
• Provide 1:1 coaching via video calls through admissions journey.
• Guide essay strategy with structured video feedback (no in-line editing).
• Lead school list strategy and application planning for balanced lists.
• Advise on extracurriculars and project framing to strengthen resumes.
• Maintain regular communication with families with a 24-hour response window.
