Job summary

Lavender seeks a non-clinical Exclusive Collaborating Psychiatrist who lives and works in Georgia to support our team of Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners. This is a fully remote, flexible 1099 role; you will not provide direct patient care, but will support our team through collaborative oversight, chart reviews, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• MD/DO with Board Certification in Psychiatry.
• Active, unrestricted medical license in Georgia and reside in Georgia.
• Willingness to obtain additional state medical licenses as needed.
• Experience collaborating with NPs preferred.
• Strong understanding of regulatory standards and collaborative practice requirements.
• Tech-savvy and comfortable using digital tools for documentation and communication.

Responsibilities

• Serve exclusively as a Collaborating Physician for Lavender, supporting Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners across the states where they practice.
• Live and actively practice in Georgia.
• Sign required state-specific collaboration documents for onboarding Nurse Practitioners.
• Complete quarterly chart reviews for NPs.
• Deliver at least one virtual continuing education session annually.
• Maintain compliance with state and federal regulatory requirements.
• Provide timely feedback and maintain documentation standards.
• Obtain and maintain additional state medical licenses as needed to support Lavender's growth.
