Job summary

Lavender seeks a non-clinical, Exclusive Collaborating Psychiatrist who lives and works in Georgia to support our Nurse Practitioners. This fully remote, contract role involves collaboration, chart reviews, and regulatory compliance without direct patient care.

The opportunity enables a physician to practice remotely, with state-specific onboarding and licensure support provided by Lavender, while contributing to high-quality, patient-centered digital mental health care.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with Board Certification in Psychiatry.
• Active, unrestricted medical license in Georgia.
• Willingness and ability to obtain additional state licenses as needed.
• Experience collaborating with NPs preferred.
• Strong understanding of regulatory standards and collaborative practice requirements.

Responsibilities

• Serve exclusively as Collaborating Physician for Lavender, supporting Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners across the states where they practice.
• Live and actively practice in Georgia.
• Sign required state-specific collaboration documents for onboarding NP.
• Complete quarterly chart review per NP (volume varies month to month).
• Deliver at least one virtual continuing education session annually.
• Maintain compliance with state and federal regulatory requirements.
• Provide timely feedback and maintain documentation standards.
• Obtain and maintain additional state medical licenses as needed to support Lavender's growing practice.
