Job summary

Rise Association Management Group is seeking a Commercial Insurance Customer Service Representative in Houston, TX. The role focuses on COIs, policy documentation, and ensuring compliance with carrier standards.

The licensed professional will support Account Managers and Producers, maintain accurate policy records, and manage data entry in the agency system while handling inquiries and renewals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Active Texas General Lines Property & Casualty license.
• Experience reading and interpreting E&S commercial insurance policies.
• 1 year of experience in an insurance agency, brokerage, or related role preferred.
• Demonstrated experience issuing Certificates of Insurance.

Responsibilities

• Process and issue a high volume of COIs, including lender, vendor, and contractual requests.
• Review contractual insurance requirements and ensure certificates are issued accurately.
• Read, interpret, and reference E&S commercial policies to confirm coverage, limits, endorsements, and exclusions.
• Maintain accuracy when listing additional insureds, waiver of subrogation, and related wording.
• Assist with servicing commercial accounts across lines (GL, Property, Umbrella/Excess, Auto, WC).
• Enter, update, and maintain policy and certificate data in the agency management system.
• Request endorsements, policy changes, audits, and loss runs from carriers.
• Support renewal preparation by organizing exposure data and policy documentation.
• Respond to routine client, lender, and property manager inquiries professionally.
• Review policies/endorsements for accuracy and escalate discrepancies.
