Job summary

nimble solutions is seeking a Coding Quality and Education Manager to serve as a subject matter expert in CPT coding, auditing, and education initiatives. You will perform coding audits, analyze quality trends, and deliver targeted education to coders and providers, collaborating with operations teams and clients to ensure regulatory compliance.

This is a remote-friendly, full-time role requiring deep knowledge of CPT, ICD-10-CM, coding policies, and payer requirements, with a focus on improving

Qualifications

• 8–10+ years of coding experience in outpatient and/or professional surgical coding.
• 5+ years in coding quality auditing and/or coding education.
• Advanced knowledge of CPT, ICD-10-CM, modifier usage, Medicare rules.
• Surgical specialties experience: orthopedics, spine, pain management, ophthalmology, general surgery.
• Strong written and verbal communication for client education.

Responsibilities

• Perform prospective and retrospective audits of outpatient and professional coding.
• Support and maintain the coding quality assurance program and scores.
• Analyze audit results to identify risks and education needs.
• Develop and deliver coder- and provider-facing education and remediation.
• Prepare client-facing audit summaries and reports with clear actions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to standardize best practices.
• Provide expert-level support for complex coding questions.
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and client onboarding.
