Job summary

Aledade PBC seeks a Coding Quality Assurance (QA) Manager to lead a skilled QA team focused on coding accuracy, audit readiness, and SOP development across CDI and vendor partners. You will mentor talent and elevate compliance in a remote-first environment.

The role emphasizes deep HCC knowledge, ICD-10-CM guidelines, and payer-audit support, with strong leadership and organizational skills to drive continuous quality improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in health care field with CDI/HCC exposure.
• Minimum 4 years of HCC coding experience with 2 years in coding quality assurance or audits.
• Active credentials from AAPC and/or AHIMA (CRC, CCS, CPC, CPMA).
• Deep knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CMS Risk Adjustment guidelines, RADV audit rules.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage a QA team; set goals and conduct performance reviews.
• Oversee coding QA audits of internal CDI and external vendor work for ICD-10-CM compliance.
• Develop, implement, and maintain SOPs, audit workflows, and coding quality guidelines.
• Support external payer audits (RADV, Medicare, Commercial) with chart reviews and documentation.
• Evaluate third-party vendor accuracy against SLAs and guide corrective actions.
• Translate audit findings into actionable educational resources for CDI staff and vendors.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
