Job summary

Aquent is seeking a Digital Content Analyst to support a growing digital content program. The role focuses on CMS publishing, editing, and optimizing educational content using AI tools to boost speed and scalability.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years in content coordination, CMS experience (Sanity preferred), and solid editing, SEO, and writing skills. This remote, part-time contract role offers flexible scheduling and growth opportunities within a dynamic content team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or equivalent experience.
• 1–3 years in digital content coordination or related fields.
• Hands-on CMS experience; Sanity CMS preferred.
• Understanding of on-page SEO including internal linking and metadata.
• Experience with generative AI tools and evaluating AI outputs.

Responsibilities

• Publish and format articles in CMS (Sanity or similar).
• Upload text, imagery, links per standards.
• Select and upload appropriate stock hero imagery.
• Apply proper content structure (H1/H2/H3).
• Add internal links to supporting content.
• Optimize metadata, image alt text, URLs for SEO.
• Apply on-page SEO best practices.
• Track assignments and move content through pipeline.
• Monitor schedules and identify bottlenecks.
• Incorporate AI tools to improve workflows.
• Review AI content for quality before publication.
• Proofread and edit for accuracy and readability.
• Communicate progress and blockers.
