Job summary

Pursuit Aerospace is seeking an experienced CMM Programmer to design and implement PC-DMIS programs for inspection of machined components, ensuring GD&T compliance and accurate documentation. Remote role with up to 50% travel; you will collaborate with Quality and Manufacturing engineers to drive continuous improvement and training for inspectors in a fast-paced aerospace environment.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in CMM programming, ITAR/EAR awareness, and the ability to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in CMM programming using PC-DMIS
Must be able to perform work subject to ITAR/EAR regulations
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis without sponsorship now or in the future

Responsibilities

CMM Programming: design PC-DMIS programs for feature types and stages to ensure robust inspection routines.
Quality Assurance: ensure accurate representation of part features per GD&T standards.
Documentation: maintain documentation of inspection programs, measurement data, and reports.
Collaboration: daily communication with Quality and Manufacturing engineers and production teams.
Continuous Improvement: identify opportunities to improve quality processes and inspection procedures.
Training Support: assist in training inspectors on CMM operation and inspection techniques.
Compliance: ensure safety, quality regulations, and company policies are followed.
Problem-Solving: use root cause analysis to address issues and implement preventive actions.
