Job summary

Research To Practice (RTP) is seeking a Production and Editorial Manager to own the lifecycle and on-time delivery of enduring CME programs across digital, print, and multimedia platforms. You will coordinate editorial, design, AV, copyediting, marketing, and web teams, serving as the final quality checkpoint before publication.

The role combines production management with editorial oversight, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and a high standard of published content across formats.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, English, Journalism, or a related field.
• 5+ years of proofreading, copyediting, editorial production, or media production experience (print, digital, AV, or online publishing).
• Experience serving as a final quality control reviewer for published materials.
• Production management or cross-functional project management experience preferred.
• Excellent written communication, organizational, and project management skills.
• Proficiency with Adobe Acrobat.
• Experience with project management/annotation tools such as Asana, Airtable, Front, GoProof, or similar.
• Attention to detail with multiple concurrent projects and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage multiple concurrent production timelines for enduring educational programs, social media, print, and promotions.
• Coordinate production schedules across editorial, design, multimedia, web, marketing, and project management teams to ensure timely delivery.
• Monitor project status, identify risks, and resolve scheduling conflicts.
• Maintain awareness of production schedules and deadlines, assisting managers in resolving issues.
• Provide concise status reporting to executive leadership.
• Support other project managers on print and live event production as needed.
• Evaluate production workflows and recommend improvements for efficiency and quality.
