Job summary

Sentara Health is seeking a Full-Time Remote Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join the Telehealth Services team. The role focuses on delivering high-quality virtual patient care while collaborating with a dedicated healthcare team to improve outcomes across communities served.

A sign-on bonus of up to $5,000 is available for qualified candidates. Hours are Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM, with one weekend and one closing shift per month; shift rotating.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or Equivalent is required.
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Current CMA or EMT-Basic certification (or equivalent) from an accredited organization.
• Less than a year of related experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Performs patient care and administrative/clerical tasks under supervision of licensed clinicians.
