Job summary

Sentara Health is seeking a Full-Time Remote Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our Telehealth Services team. The role supports delivering high-quality virtual patient care under the supervision of physicians, NP/PA, and nursing staff. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is available for qualified candidates.

Hours are Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM, with 1 weekend and 1 closing shift per month. Base pay ranges $21.69–$32.14 hourly, with potential extra compensation based on qualifications and

Qualifications

• Less than a year of related experience required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Current CMA, RMA, CCMA, NCMA, NRCMA, CMAC, or equivalent certification or EMT-Basic required from an accredited organization.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care and administrative/clerical tasks as delegated by the physician, NP/PA, RN or LPN.
• Support telehealth services and collaborate with the care team to deliver high quality virtual patient care.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
