Job summary

Sentara Medical Group is seeking a Full-Time Remote Certified Medical Assistant to join our Telehealth Services team in Virginia Beach, VA. You will support virtual patient care with a collaborative health team and may receive a sign-on bonus for qualified candidates.

Hours are Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM, with 1 weekend and 1 closing shift per month. The role requires a CMA certification, BLS, and a High School diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or Equivalent is required.
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Current, unexpired Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, CCMA, NCMA, NRCMA, CMAC, or equivalent) or EMT-Basic certification from an accredited organization.

Responsibilities

• Performs patient care and administrative/clerical tasks and procedures per training and supervision by licensed staff.
• Supports telehealth visits and coordinates with physicians, NPs/PAs, and nursing staff.
