Job summary

Focus Consulting, LLC is seeking a Technical Product Manager (Cloud) to lead product strategy and delivery for DOE FSA programs, building automated testing suites, test data tooling, and CI/CD pipelines in AWS to ship safer releases.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent.
• 5+ years in technical product management or related technical roles.
• Experience as an engineer or in infrastructure/cloud projects (test automation, QA, DevOps).
• Experience on government modernization projects.
• Hands-on cloud experience; AWS preferred (Azure welcome).

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain a clear product roadmap aligned to FSA's mission, milestones, and contract objectives.
• Apply structured prioritization frameworks to balance user needs, compliance requirements, and technical feasibility.
• Turn vendor pain points, release data, and stakeholder goals into epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Define success measures for test coverage, release velocity, defect escape rate, and pipeline reliability.
• Partner with engineering leads on AWS architecture, CI/CD pipelines, test automation strategy, APIs, and infrastructure-as-code.
• Own the backlog for developer self-service tools used by vendor teams and government stakeholders.
• Coordinate DevSecOps and ATO readiness activities so security and compliance are planned from the start.
• Coordinate technical dependencies across engineering, external vendors, and FSA platform owners.
• Facilitate sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives to keep teams aligned.
• Build alignment across program, policy, and technology partners without formal authority.
• Run demos and sprint reviews to keep stakeholders informed.
