Job summary

Tripoint Solutions LLC is seeking a Cloud Engineer to build, operate, and automate AWS GovCloud infrastructure for a federal education program. You will collaborate with cloud, Salesforce, and data teams to keep environments secure, available, and compliant, while replacing manual tasks with automation.

Location: Remote with preference for candidates in the U.S. You must relocate to states where TPS has offices if needed. Candidates must meet security requirements and citizenship expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related field.
• 5+ years in cloud engineering or operations.
• Hands-on AWS GovCloud experience.
• Hands-on AWS experience across compute, storage, networking, and identity.

Responsibilities

• Provision, configure, and operate AWS GovCloud infrastructure (EC2, S3, EBS, RDS, VPCs).
• Author and maintain infrastructure as code (CloudFormation or Terraform).
• Build and support AWS-Salesforce/MuleSoft integrations.
• Develop and maintain AWS Glue data pipelines.
• Implement security, IAM, KMS, and encryption best practices.
• Automate operational tasks with Python.
• Support STIG, ATO, and vulnerability remediation.
