Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Lead Cloud Solutions Architect to act as the senior technology leader for cloud initiatives, partnering with business stakeholders to define objectives, opportunities, and measurable value. Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree required.
8 years of related experience.
Experience designing and delivering Azure/hybrid cloud solutions.

Responsibilities

Serve as primary technical advisor for business stakeholders.
Lead client engagement activities, discovery, requirements gathering, and business case development.
Translate business needs into practical, scalable technology solutions.
Experience supporting full solution lifecycle from concept to deployment.
Develop solution strategies, roadmaps, and delivery plans.
Lead complex engagements from concept through implementation and transition.
Collaborate with stakeholders, vendors, and delivery teams for successful outcomes.
Provide technical leadership to architects, engineers, and delivery teams.
Evaluate options and recommend cost-effective solutions.
Identify risks and mitigation strategies for delivery success.
Lead vendor evaluations and PoC initiatives.
