Job summary

The Building People seeks a Software Developer to resolve operational issues in customer production, test, and development environments. You will review logs, analyze root causes, and design solutions while communicating complex concepts clearly to clients and stakeholders.

You will work with cloud platforms, REST APIs, and containerization to implement scalable integrations and support client projects in IWMS/EAM contexts.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of experience with database systems (SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle).
• Minimum two years of JS programming/scripting with frameworks (React, NodeJS, TypeScript).
• Minimum two years of OOP languages (Java, C#, Python).
• Minimum two years of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google).
• Experience with REST API, SOAP, messaging, data files.
• Knowledge of Git, Agile/Scrum/Kanban, and SDLC.
• Experience with IWMS/EAM (preferred).
• Must meet federal background/clearance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise to resolve operational issues in customer environments.
• Review logs, code, and determine root causes of issues.
• Research, manage, and improve operational environments from infrastructure up.
• Participate in technical discussions with customer IT support to resolve issues.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to establish functional requirements and suggest improvements.
• Design and document solutions to varying levels of complexity.
• Translate technical solutions into clear non-technical communications for clients.
• Support client-facing engagements and provide technical leadership on projects.
• Implement cloud solutions integrating with third-party applications.
• Develop and execute test plans and quality assurance procedures.
• Contribute to secure coding practices and vulnerability remediation.
• Experience with IWMS/EAM (Archibus, TRIRIGA, Maximo, ServiceNow WSD) preferred.
