Job summary

Arthrex is seeking an Engineer II - Product Security (SecOps - Cloud) to strengthen the security of our engineering software delivery environment. You will monitor cloud security, maintain detection rules, and assist in incident response across AWS and Azure, with a strong focus on security engineering practices.

The role supports SOC 2 and HIPAA readiness, collaborates with software engineering, and may involve travel. Remote work is available for candidates in the United States.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of cloud security, security operations, or related security engineering experience.
• Bachelor degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Biomedical, Electrical or Software), Computer Science, Information Security or Cybersecurity.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and triage security findings across Arthrex's Engineering environments using CSPM/CNAPP tooling (Wiz), AWS Security Hub, GuardDuty, and Azure Defender for Cloud; assess severity and elevate confirmed findings.
• Maintain security tooling health, detection rules, alert policies, and thresholds to reduce noise and improve signal fidelity.
• Develop and upkeep incident response playbooks and runbooks for security events; participate in triage, containment, evidence collection and post-incident documentation.
• Support SOC 2 and HIPAA audit readiness including evidence collection, control documentation, and gap tracking.
• Design security architectures and collaborate with Software Engineering to embed Security-by-Design and Privacy-by-Design concepts.
