Smile Digital Health is seeking a Senior Cloud Security Engineer to design, automate, and deploy production-grade cloud services across AWS, Azure, OCI and GCP in a remote US setting.

You will collaborate with Cloud Architects and Development teams to ensure secure, scalable infrastructure, implement best-practice security controls (SOC2, HIPAA, ISO27001) and drive automation using IaC tools. This role offers a remote-friendly environment and opportunities to influence healthcare data platforms.

Qualifications

Requires 5+ years in IT with security-focused cloud engineering.
Experience with AWS, Azure, GCP or multi-cloud deployments.
Strong knowledge of SOC2, HIPAA, ISO27001 controls.
Experience with IaC tools: Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation.
Ability to design secure, scalable cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities

Design, automate and deploy production-grade cloud services across clouds.
Collaborate with Cloud Architect and Development teams on infrastructure.
Provide Level 3 support to internal teams, customers and partners.
Lead security best practices and incident response activities.
Document procedures and maintain system health and reliability.
