Job summary

iSeatz is seeking a Security Engineer to design, build, operate, and improve technical controls protecting our cloud-native platform. You will translate security requirements into durable solutions and partner with Engineering to ship securely while enhancing visibility and resilience across services relied on by renowned brands.

The role emphasizes hands-on security in AWS, automation, detection and response, and practical risk reduction.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in security engineering or related roles.
• Hands-on AWS security experience.
• IaC to build/manage cloud infrastructure and security controls.
• Experience with SIEM and cloud security analytics.
• Identity security controls such as SSO/MFA and lifecycle management.
• Experience with container security (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong analytical and communication skills, able to explain risk clearly.
• Ability to work independently across Security, Engineering, DevOps, IT, and Compliance.

Responsibilities

• Engineer and maintain security controls across AWS accounts and services.
• Develop, review, and improve Infrastructure as Code for security controls and cloud infra.
• Operate and improve the SIEM, including log onboarding, detection content, alert tuning, investigations.
• Administer IAM controls across cloud environments and critical SaaS platforms.
• Maintain and enhance intrusion detection and prevention capabilities.
• Own vulnerability management lifecycle: scanning, remediation tracking, reporting.
• Secure CI/CD pipelines, application dependencies, secrets, and container workloads.
• Build security automation and tooling to reduce manual effort and speed responses.
• Support security incident response with technical investigations and remediation.
• Perform security reviews and document findings, standards, and runbooks.
• Stay current on cloud threats and defensive capabilities to improve security.
