Job summary

OMW Consulting is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer with strong DevSecOps and IaC experience to own the platform environments and contribute to product features. You will design secure cloud infrastructure, automate deployments, and drive security throughout the SDLC.

The role offers remote work in the USA with potential on-site options in DC. You will collaborate across teams, deploy cloud infra, troubleshoot production systems, and leverage AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery

Qualifications

• Experience building secure, compliant infrastructure for production.
• Strong IaC skills with Terraform, Pulumi or CloudFormation.
• Deep AWS experience across core services and security.
• Ability to implement CI/CD and DevSecOps practices.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy and maintain secure cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code.
• Build and maintain infra for development, testing and production environments.
• Develop and improve CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
• Implement DevSecOps across the software lifecycle.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, app, networking, container and deployment issues.
• Design architectures for highly regulated security environments.
• Automate repetitive operational tasks and manage secrets.
• Review changes for security, reliability and maintainability.
• Contribute to application development and new features with AI tooling.
• Own technical problems from investigation to production deployment.
• Collaborate with leadership to turn customer needs into working software.
