Job summary

Ad Hoc LLC is seeking a Staff DevOps and Systems Integration Engineer for a fully remote role in the United States. The role focuses on designing, building, and operating a scalable cloud platform with secure practices, automation, and CI/CD pipelines across teams.

This position requires expert IaC proficiency and strong DevSecOps capabilities, with extensive collaboration across government-focused programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 9+ years of experience; relevant years may substitute education
• Expert‑level knowledge in at least one IaC tool (Terraform, Ansible)
• Expertise in key DevSecOps concepts: installation, virtualization, containerization, networking

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate the scalable, secure Cloud platform and its services
• Automate infrastructure provisioning via IaC and integrate pipelines for stability and cost control
• Develop Terraform modules to manage cloud landing zones and CI/CD templates for microservices and APIs
• Deliver secure, modern features and APIs that integrate with IRS systems
• Provide documentation, training, and support to foster adoption of platform tools
