Job summary

Mirantis, Inc. seeks a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to design and operate hybrid Kubernetes platforms across AWS and Azure. You will unify VM and container management with KubeVirt, build observability, and enforce DevSecOps standards while automating provisioning with IaC.

You will lead GitOps workflows with Argo CD and Helm, mentor distributed teams, and advance cloud governance and security across environments. Telecommuting is permitted.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience designing and operating production Kubernetes clusters for enterprise workloads.
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines with Argo CD and JFrog Artifactory for automated deployments.
• Experience with AWS or Azure production infrastructure, including hybrid or multi-cloud architectures.
• Experience with DevSecOps practices, including Harbor registry security, access management, and compliance alignment.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or Ansible for large-scale automation.

Responsibilities

• Architect and deliver enterprise-grade Kubernetes platforms across hybrid AWS and Azure environments.
• Design, implement, and operate Kubernetes-based infrastructure to support containerized and VM workloads with KubeVirt.
• Build and maintain production observability platforms to improve MTTR and reliability.
• Establish and enforce DevSecOps standards, including security controls and RBAC baselines.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code to standardize environments.
• Lead GitOps workflows using Argo CD and Helm for reproducible releases.
• Mentor teams and provide technical leadership across distributed groups.
• Develop reusable reference architectures and automation frameworks for repeatable deployments.
