Job summary

Jack Henry & Associates, Inc. is looking for an Infrastructure Engineer to join their Cloud Infrastructure team. In this role, you will be vital in building and managing core systems that deliver scalable and reliable application services in Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The position may be worked remotely within the United States, excluding California.

You will collaborate closely with engineering teams, enhancing platform capabilities and addressing critical infrastructure challenges. A minimum of 6 years in software development or cloud infrastructure is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of experience in Software Development, DevOps, or with Cloud Infrastructure.
• Hands‑on experience deploying and managing infrastructure in Kubernetes clusters.
• Practical experience in declarative service infrastructure environments, specifically using Terraform.
• Production programming experience and proficiency in Go or Python.
• Deep familiarity with operating in Unix/Linux and Windows environments.

• Plan, design, and build core infrastructure systems.
• Debug critical production infrastructure issues.
• Design and operate systems focusing on site health and reliability.
• Use Go or Python to build platform solutions.
