Job summary

Motion Recruitment Partners LLC is seeking a Cloud Platform Engineer for a well-known Financial Services company in Charlotte, NC. The role focuses on GCP, GKE, Docker Swarm, and Linux administration to build scalable cloud infrastructure.

You will design and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automate provisioning with Terraform and Ansible, and develop Python scripts with REST APIs. Hybrid environment, collaboration across teams, and focus on reliability are key.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with GCP, GKE, Docker Swarm, and Linux administration.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with GitLab CI or GitHub Actions.
• Understanding of container orchestration, networking, and security.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and scale containerized applications on GCP using GKE and Docker Swarm.
• Configure and secure Linux-based systems across environments.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines for automated builds, tests, and deployments.
• Design and automate infrastructure with Terraform and Ansible.
• Develop Python scripts and REST APIs for automation.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams.
• Monitor and optimize PostgreSQL and Elasticsearch databases.
• Document infrastructure processes and best practices.
