Job summary

Jack Henry & Associates, Inc. is seeking a DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation. This remote role requires living within approximately a 70-mile radius of Allen, TX; Louisville, KY; Springfield, MO; or Monett, MO.

Onsite interviews may be required to verify identity. You will participate in the full software development lifecycle, collaborate across disciplines, and work with scripting languages to automate deployment and

Qualifications

3 years of experience in a specialized engineering role (e.g., prior experience, apprenticeship, internship, or a combination).
Experience with SQL and Datadog.
Working knowledge of PowerShell, Java, NodeJS, Azure DevOps or Jsource.
Willing to work an on-call rotation for 1 week every 8 weeks.

Responsibilities

Learn to actively participate in all phases of the software development life cycle, including research, prototyping, detailed design, development, technical documentation, and defect fixing.
Contribute to the design and implementation of system deployment automation and configuration management tools.
Develop software in scripting languages using agile design-build-test methodologies.
Construct, improve, and maintain automated deployment pipelines.
Collaborate with team members across disciplines and communicate progress, challenges, and solutions clearly.
