Job summary

MacStadium is seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Architect to own the architecture converting hardware into a scalable service portfolio, including VPC, storage, and firewall offerings. You will lead Platform, guiding both private and public cloud solutions for our website, back-office, and customer-facing managed services.

Reporting to the VP of Engineering, you will drive infra design for Orka (Kubernetes-based Mac virtualization) and collaborate across IPAM, DCIM, Network Automation, and Service

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• 7+ years in infrastructure engineering or architecture with hands-on exposure to listed skills.
• Experience designing/operating physical infra for public or private clouds.
• Public cloud familiarity (AWS) and multi-tenant networking experience.
• Strong documentation and vendor evaluation capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to align specs, setups, and workflows with onboarding.
• Act as SME for compute, storage, and network security delivering product features.
• Define next-gen BOMs and configurations to innovate infra.
• Own technical documentation for services on physical infra.
• Collaborate with Product to map customer goals to infra changes.
• Work with Network Architect to optimize traffic and infra impact.
• Lead Platform team planning, delivery, and execution of foundational projects.
• Coordinate with Service Delivery on rack-level hardware design.
