Job summary

Tripoint Solutions is hiring a Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to secure, reliable, and high-performing environments and automate deployment processes.

The role focuses on AWS, IaC, and CI/CD with emphasis on security, governance, and cost optimization. Remote work is offered, with expectations for availability and collaboration across states.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 5+ years in cloud engineering or operations.
• Hands-on AWS across compute, storage, networking, and identity.
• Experience with IaC and CI/CD pipelines.
• Linux system administration and Python scripting.

Responsibilities

• Provision, configure, and operate AWS infrastructure components including VPCs, Redshift, RDS, and S3.
• Define and maintain infrastructure as code with version control and automated validation.
• Design storage architectures with lifecycle policies and retention.
• Support data warehouse integration and secure pipelines.
• Implement IAM, KMS, and secrets management; enforce least-privilege access.
• Advise on security posture, STIG, and vulnerability remediation within timelines.
• Develop CI/CD pipelines with automation for security and monitoring.
• Automate operational tasks using Python and optimize cloud costs.
