Everforth ECS seeks a Cloud DevOps Support Engineer to assist a Department of Homeland Security cloud operations team in a regulated environment in the Washington, DC metro area or remote. You will act as the operational glue, handling access requests, outages, changes, and scheduling, while documenting decisions to keep the team aligned.

You’ll work with security and platform engineers, learn the environment, and grow into more responsibilities as you gain familiarity.

Qualificações

• Experience working in a government or federal contracting environment preferred.
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical issues clearly.

Responsabilidades

• Triage incoming requests and route them to the right person or resolve them.
• Coordinate change requests and identify needed approvals.
• Schedule and coordinate maintenance across the operations team.
• Document processes, decisions, and recurring issues for shared knowledge.
• Write and maintain SOPs and runbooks for common tasks.
• Manage user access requests, provisioning, and deprovisioning across cloud accounts.
• Monitor system health and dashboards, flag issues early.
• Support customer and internal requests and communicate resolution timelines.
• Escalate to appropriate engineers for infrastructure or security work as needed.
• Maintain Public Trust and ensure compliance in a regulated environment.
