Job summary

GEHA Health is seeking an Assoc Cloud Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines in Snowflake and Azure cloud services. You will work with data analysts, project managers, and stakeholders to enable actionable insights while aligning with enterprise data strategy.

The role emphasizes ETL/ELT development, data security, governance, and collaboration in a cloud-native environment. Prior experience in healthcare analytics is a plus.

Qualifications

• Requires 1-2 years of relevant technical or business work experience with preferred experience within healthcare industry or data and analytics.
• Bachelor’s degree or comparable experience in a related field.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake and Microsoft Azure data services; strong SQL and query development skills.
• Familiarity with ETL/ELT frameworks and data governance practices.

Responsibilities

• Support the cloud data framework that aligns with the Enterprise Data Strategy and organizational goals.
• Design and Build Data Pipelines: Develop scalable ETL/ELT pipelines for ingesting, processing, storing, and consuming large datasets on Azure or Snowflake.
• Cloud Data Architecture: Design and implement data solutions using ADF, ADLS and Snowflake to support analytics, BI, and data science initiatives.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across teams to understand data requirements and implement solutions.
