Job summary

Humana is seeking a Data Engineer II to design, develop, and maintain cloud-based data pipelines that support business intelligence, analytics, and operational reporting. You will work closely with senior engineers, architects, analysts, and stakeholders to build reliable, scalable data solutions on Snowflake and Azure.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Snowflake or similar cloud data warehouses.
• Working knowledge of Azure cloud services (Databricks, Storage Accounts) and data platforms.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python or equivalent data-engineering language.
• Understanding of ETL/ELT concepts, data integration patterns, and transformations.
• Familiarity with API-based integrations (MuleSoft) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and delivery across enterprise data platforms.
• Build and support Snowflake-based solutions and cloud-native workflows using Azure services.
• Assist in data migrations from on-prem to cloud platforms; modernize data processes and architecture.
• Create and maintain ETL/ELT processes ensuring data accuracy and availability.
• Collaborate with analysts, data architects, and stakeholders to deliver data solutions.
