American Oncology Network, Inc. is seeking a Research Budget Analyst to develop and negotiate clinical research budgets, perform coverage analyses, and manage data in the CTMS. This remote position supports multi-site budgeting and ensures timely, compliant billing aligned with study protocols.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in medical billing or research budgeting, strong Excel skills, and knowledge of federal, state, and IRB requirements. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required.
• 3–5 years experience in medical billing or research budget negotiation.
• Proficient in Excel and accounting software; CTMS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, review, negotiate, and finalize clinical research budgets and pricing lists.
• Generate coverage analyses using ICD/CPT code knowledge.
• Input and maintain CTMS data; track budget status and research billing processes.
• Provide updates on budgets drafting and negotiations to stakeholders.
• Support remote operations and ensure compliance with regulations.
