Job summary

TGen, the Translational Genomics Research Institute, seeks a Clinical Research Budget Analyst to manage budgets and coverage analyses for oncology trials, ensuring compliant funding and efficient handoffs.

Three to five years of experience in budget development and negotiation, with knowledge of HCPCS/CPT codes and Medicare guidelines, is preferred. This role supports the post-award team in a nonprofit research environment based in Arizona.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in coverage analysis and budget development or related clinical trial finance oversight.
• Experience with oncology trials and understanding of standard vs. research care.
• Familiarity with Medicare regulations and CPT/HCPCS.
• Strong ability to review budgets, develop coverage analyses, and negotiate priorities.

Responsibilities

• Reviews and updates study materials, budgets, and coverage analyses for health-system handoff.
• Interacts with sponsor officials to resolve budget changes and funding requests.
• Assesses project funding sources and ensures alignment with institutional guidelines and precedent pricing.
• Analyze new protocols to determine coverage needs and prioritization with stakeholders.
