Job summary

Syneos Health is seeking a seasoned Clinical Trial Manager to oversee site management and monitoring across studies, ensuring patient safety, data integrity and regulatory compliance.

The role requires leadership, strong knowledge of GCP/ICH, and the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams while managing risks and timelines. Travel up to 20% may be needed; extensive patient‑focused outcomes drive our work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or RN in a related field or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and align teams in the achievement of project milestones.
• Demonstrated capability of working in an international environment.
• Demonstrated expertise in site management and monitoring (clinical or central).
• Preferred experience with risk‑based monitoring.
• Understanding of clinical trial management financial principles and budget management.
• Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice/ICH Guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to apply problem solving techniques to resolve complex issues and apply a risk management approach.
• Ability to think critically to determine causes and solutions; travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Oversees site management, monitoring deliverables, and data integrity with focus on patient safety and GCP compliance.
• Reviews scope of work, budget, and protocol content; ensures team awareness of contractual obligations.
• Employs strategic thinking to propose and implement risk mitigations.
• Acts as escalation point for investigator site communications and interactions with principal investigators.
• Collaborates with Study Start Up, Patient Recruitment and Data Management to coordinate handoffs and milestones.
• Develops and maintains clinical study tools, templates, and monitoring plans.
• Manages resource allocations for CRAs and Central Monitors; ensures quality of deliverables.
• Reviews CTMS/EDC/eDiary/ePRO/TMF dashboards to ensure timely execution of activities.
