Job summary

Backpack Health is seeking a Clinical Supervisor for their Clinical Residency Program. This part-time, fee-for-service leadership role supervises residents, mentors pre-licensed clinicians, and contributes to training while maintaining a small clinical caseload.

You will ensure compliance with state licensure and CARF standards, support telehealth services, and model person-centered, evidence-based practice. Maryland-licensed clinicians with leadership experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Advanced clinical degree with Maryland licensure; willingness to pursue cross-licensure.
• 4+ years of post-master’s clinical experience; 2+ years in leadership.
• Experience in virtual healthcare strategy or systems-level transformation.
• Strong knowledge of Medicaid documentation standards and accreditation processes.
• Ability to use data to drive performance improvement; systems thinker.

Responsibilities

• Provide weekly individual and group supervision aligned with standards.
• Review and approve treatment plans, progress notes, and documentation.
• Maintain a small active caseload and model best practices.
• Lead resident orientation, workshops, and ongoing training.
• Monitor documentation timeliness, accuracy, and Medicaid compliance.
