Job summary

Backpack Health is seeking a Clinical Supervisor to provide weekly supervision and mentorship to residents and pre-licensed clinicians in a Clinical Residency Program. This part-time, fee-for-service leadership role maintains a small caseload while modeling high-quality, evidence-based care in both in-person and telehealth settings.

Qualifications

• Advanced clinical degree with Maryland licensure or eligibility.
• 4+ years of post-master’s clinical experience.
• 2+ years of leadership experience.
• Experience in virtual healthcare strategy or systems-level behavioral health transformation.
• Experience launching tech-enabled clinical initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Provide weekly individual and group supervision aligned with standards.
• Review and approve treatment plans and documentation.
• Maintain a small caseload and model best practices.
• Lead resident orientation, workshops, and ongoing training sessions.
• Monitor resident documentation for timeliness and compliance.
• Conduct competency-based evaluations and develop development plans.
• Collaborate with program leadership and operations teams.
