Job summary

Phoenix Children's Hospital is seeking a Clinical Supervisor to support ambulatory operations across a network of clinics. This primarily remote leadership role oversees five remote Medical Assistants handling administrative support and triage calls.

You will partner with the Manager of Ambulatory Services to lead onboarding, policy implementation, training, and staff development across locations. Expect frequent Phoenix metro travel for leadership meetings and site support.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of Clinical Supervisor experience.
• Strong clinical leadership and staff development skills.
• Excellent presentation and communication abilities.
• Ability to travel to clinics as needed.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily clinical operational activities to deliver quality family-centered care.
• Manage patient throughput and coordination of admissions, discharges, transfers, and rounds.
• Oversee staffing using established levels ensuring skill mix matches patient needs.
• Monitor unit environment and ensure supplies and equipment availability for safe care.
• Mentor staff and lead onboarding for new hires and clinics.
• Provide reports on throughput, staffing, and quality indicators to leadership.
• Promote evidence-based policies and participate in risk reduction and patient safety initiatives.
• Lead performance improvement projects to enhance care delivery and satisfaction.
