Phoenix Children's is seeking a Clinical Supervisor for Ambulatory Operations to lead and oversee five remotely based Medical Assistants and manage ambulatory clinics across the Phoenix area. You will partner with the Ambulatory Services leadership to implement clinical protocols, train staff, and support onboarding for new clinics.

The role emphasizes clinical leadership, operational oversight, and collaboration with hospital leadership.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of Clinical Supervisor experience.
• Demonstrated strong clinical leadership, staff training, organizational and presentation skills.
• Flexibility and adaptability to change.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily clinical operational activities to ensure high-quality family-centered care.
• Manage patient throughput including admissions, discharges and rounding.
• Oversee staffing processes and adjust assignments to match patient needs and staff competencies.
• Ensure supplies, equipment and information are available for safe patient care.
• Document scheduling, occurrences, patient/family concerns, and quality indicators in real time.
• Provide reports on throughput, staffing, and quality indicators to the oncoming supervisor.
• Lead onboarding and training for new hires and clinics; mentor staff and promote professional development.
• Collaborate with leadership to implement policies and improve patient care delivery and safety.
