Responsibilities

• Coordinate shift operational flow and clinical leadership during assigned shift
• Oversee patient throughput, admissions, discharges, transfers, and rounding
• Staff scheduling and allocation to match patient needs and staff competencies
• Ensure supplies, equipment, and information are available for safe patient care
• Document scheduling, reports, concerns, and quality indicators in real time
• Provide updates to oncoming supervisor and collaborate with leadership on policies
